Managing your CONVERGE account

Inbox — messages from your team

How threads, attachments, and read state work.

Updated 5/14/2026

The inbox is the single place where every message related to your work in CONVERGE lands — help responses from Research Development, opportunities a colleague shared with you, system confirmations, and any direct messages.

Where to find it

The bell-with-label in the page header opens the inbox for whichever module you're in. From inside Fairway that's /fairway/inbox; the left navigation stays visible so you can return to your work in one click.

Filters

  • All — every item, sorted newest first.
  • Help requests & responses — your conversations with RD on specific opportunities.
  • Shared opportunities — items a colleague forwarded to you.
  • Match updates — confirmations of your signals and changes to your matches.

Threads and attachments

Replies are grouped into threads scoped to a single opportunity or topic. You can attach files when replying — typical use is sending RD a draft abstract or a CV. Attachments stay with the thread.

Read state

Items mark themselves read when you open them. The unread count in the header bell updates in real time across tabs.

Email and inbox stay in sync

Even if you reply from an email notification, the response is recorded in the same thread inside the inbox. You can manage everything in either place.
