What "personalization" means in CONVERGE
CONVERGE personalizes what you see, what you get emailed, and how each module looks. Everything lives in Profile & Settings (/profile) plus a Customize button on each module dashboard.
1. Notification preferences
Under Profile & Settings → Notifications you control what CONVERGE emails you and how often:
- New match alerts — email me the moment a new opportunity is matched to me.
- Weekly matches digest — one rollup email per week (choose the day/time) instead of per-match alerts.
- Signaled Interest activity — for research development / leadership users, email copies of outbound outreach and new-signal alerts in your scope.
- Master email switch — turn all CONVERGE email off (in-app notifications still work).
2. Dashboard layout
Every module dashboard (Fairway, Signal, Drive, Clubhouse) has a Customize button that lets you:
- Show, hide, and reorder panels (recent matches, saved opportunities, upcoming deadlines, engagement charts, etc.).
- Choose a compact or expanded layout on smaller screens.
Your layout is saved per user and per module.
3. Your profile & research areas
Under Profile & Settings → Account you can update:
- Name, title, department, contact info — how you appear across CONVERGE and in outreach.
- Research areas, publications, project titles, prior funding, ORCID — these directly shape which opportunities CONVERGE matches to you. Keeping this current is one of the highest-leverage forms of personalization.
- CV upload — CONVERGE extracts expertise from uploaded CVs to enrich your profile.
4. Module access & password
- Module Access shows which modules you have (Fairway, Signal, Drive, Clubhouse) — request access from your admin.
- Change Password lets you rotate your password whenever you like.
5. Sharing, inbox, and privacy
Other tailored controls live in their own guide topics:
- Inbox — messages and notifications from your team.
- Sharing — how to share opportunities with colleagues.
- Privacy — what your institution can and can't see.

If any of this feels hidden or unclear, tell us via the Tester Feedback pill or Contact Support — we use that feedback directly to improve labels and defaults.
