Clubhouse (Admin)
Managing users
Adding, editing, and removing CONVERGE users; module access; the protected Converge Admin role.
Updated 5/14/2026
User management lives in Clubhouse. From here you add new accounts, grant module access, edit profiles on behalf of users, and remove accounts that no longer need access.
The three tabs
- Active users — everyone with an enabled CONVERGE account.
- Investigators — faculty profiles, including those without an account yet.
- Pending / staging — incoming users awaiting review or promotion.
Adding a user
- Open Active users → Add user.
- Enter the user's email (this is their unique ID — academic prefixes are stripped).
- Pick the modules they should have.
- Save. They receive a welcome email with a link to set their password.
Editing module access
Open a user, toggle the modules they should have, save. Removing a module hides it from their navigation but does not delete any of their data.
Converge Admin is protected
The Converge Admin role cannot be deleted or downgraded by other admins. This prevents accidental lockout. Contact platform support if a Converge Admin account needs to be removed.
Removing a user
Deletion cascades through related records — sent messages, signaled interest, help requests, and saved opportunities are removed with the account. If you want to retain history, disable the account instead.
Change history
Every user edit is logged. Open a user's History tab to see who changed what and when, including module grants and profile edits.
