Browsing all opportunities

Filtering, saving, and pursuing opportunities outside your matches.

Updated 5/14/2026

This page describes a feature that may not be enabled for your account.

All Opportunities shows every active funding opportunity in the system, not just the ones matched to you. Use it when you want to browse beyond your matches — for example, exploring a new sponsor or hunting for something a colleague should see.

Layout

Each row uses the same opportunity layout you see in matches: sponsor, title, deadline badge, funding amount, and a short summary. If an opportunity is also one of your matches, the fit appears on the row too.

Filters

  • Sponsor / source — narrow by funding agency.
  • Deadline window — limit to opportunities closing in a chosen range.
  • Pursuit status — show only what you've signaled interest in, saved, or marked Not a Fit.
  • Search — free-text search over title, sponsor, and summary.

Saving an opportunity

Saving keeps an opportunity on your radar without committing to pursuit. Saved items appear in their own pursuit-status filter and are included in deadline reminders.

Saved vs. signaled interest

Save when you want to read it later. Signal interest when you want Research Development to know you're seriously considering it.

Unknown funding amounts

When a sponsor hasn't published a funding amount, the field is left blank rather than filled with a placeholder. Sort by funding still works — blanks sort last.
