Engagement analytics

How active engagement is measured and which users are excluded.

Updated 5/14/2026

This page describes a feature that may not be enabled for your account.

Engagement analytics track how the institution is actually using CONVERGE — sign-ins, time spent on matches, signals, help requests, and shared opportunities. They're the answer to "is this thing being used?".

What's counted

  • Active faculty over rolling 7-, 30-, and 90-day windows.
  • Signals and help requests by week.
  • Inbox response time for RD staff.
  • Opportunity views, saves, and shares.

What's excluded

  • Users from the Converge admin department are excluded from engagement counts so internal QA doesn't inflate the institution's numbers.
  • Service accounts and impersonation sessions are excluded.
  • Demo-mode sessions are tagged and can be filtered out.

Privacy posture

Engagement is rolled up by unit. It does not surface individual faculty browsing histories.

Time windows

Most engagement charts default to a 30-day window with a comparison to the prior 30 days. You can switch the window from the chart controls.
